**EDIT** - dA fixed their print problems so I have uploaded the print version of this. Also the print is now available for purchase. Please buy it in the biggest size possible and hang it in your favorite person's bathroom.

Daily Deviation

Given 2008-11-14

While ~DRKPR0PH3T is not "really" a printmaker, CIDE is REALLY an awe-inspiring Monotype. Painted on a plexiglass plate and then transferred onto paper, it has a rich tonal range, depth and textures... plus it's massively creepy! (Featured by `stigmatattoo)

Like I said before, I really like this. It's cool, in a creepy way. Definitely one of the more graphic things I've seen you make. ;)

It's a monoprint, basically you roll litho ink onto a plate, I used plexiglass, then you use a spirit like Isopar to thin out areas you want white in. Similar to using Turpentine with oil paints. Then you take the plate and put a sheet of paper on it and run it through the press. It's called a monoprint though because you only get one print out of it. Which means the better ones are worth a shitload. If you like this kind of stuff check out Marshal Arisman's monkey monoprints. :D

I am actually in love with this deviation. I am attempting to pursue a style of drawing that would cause one to fear upon seeing a said piece, so your art caught my eye as I was browsing. I have read your description as to how this was completed and I hope to one day try the same.
